The Dave Keller Band will bring a night of Vermont Soul and Blues to Gloucester this Saturday, with a concert that starts at 6:30 p.m. at Flat Iron Crossroads, 7709 Flat Iron Road.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with Shore Bites food truck, along with wine, beer, seltzers, and soda at the FIX Bar. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Advance tickets are $20 for adults, available online at flatironcrossroads.com. Tickets are $22 at the door. Children 12 and under attend free of charge.
Keller’s career began 30 years ago in Vermont, where the self-taught singer began playing blues on an old Yamaha acoustic guitar. He switched to electric, put together a funky trio, and performed throughout New England, writing memorable songs and making people feel good. Along the way, he fell in love with Memphis Soul and was mentored by everyone from Sam McClain to Ronnie Earl, Robert Ward and Johnny Rawls.
