To mark Veterans Day, members of Cricket Hill chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution placed wreaths at two locations in Mathews. DAR placed wreaths at DAR monument on the court green and at the Courthouse Square on the monument to honor the men of Mathews who gave their lives in wars during the 20th century.
