The Cricket Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented Mathews High School senior Ethan Deptola its 2024 Good Citizen Award. Those taking part in the presentation ceremony included, from left, MHS Registrar Lori Mountford, DAR Regent Lynda Lancaster-Loyd, Deptola, DAR Good Citizen Award Chairman Miriam Kleintop and Mathews School Board chairman and DAR member Dr. Mari Gibbs. Deptola also received a check for $50.
