Alyssa Bohannon, a Mathews High School and Rappahannock Community College graduate, received the Daisy Award at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital last week. The Daisy Award is a recognition program that celebrates nurses who exhibit exceptional care and kindness. Patients, families and coworkers nominate nurses for the recognition.
