The Gloucester Daffodil Show was held in early April 1965 at Gloucester High School. In the above photo, recognized by show chairman Elizabeth C. Brown of Zanoni, at left, are Leon Winters of Gloucester Point, who with his wife entered “Ulster Prince” and won the best bloom award, and Virginia Lewis of Gloucester, who took the sweepstakes with 16 ribbons including six blues. Below, Nan Cox of Gloucester receives the first-place children’s award from Mrs. Brown.
