Committee members of the Gloucester Daffodil Show gathered Tuesday to begin their work on the 2023 show, which will be held on April 1 and 2 in the Newington Baptist Church gymnasium. Part of Gloucester’s Daffodil Festival, the show will feature horticulture blooms, artistic arrangements and photography. This year’s theme is “Let’s Jazz it Up, The Trumpets are Blooming.” Information about the show can be found online at daffodilfestivalva.org (click on “Daffodil Show” at the top of the page). The schedule listing all deadlines, rules and more details will be posted there by Feb. 10.
