The Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers opened its 20th anniversary season Saturday with its Daffodil Car Show at the Main Street Center parking lot, Gloucester. Rodger and his mom Michelle Slaughter, above, were the winners of this year’s Ant’s GANG (Going After New Goals) trophy. Jennifer Whitt created the award in memory of her son, Antonie “Ant” Robert Whitt, to recognize parents who are working with their children to keep them from getting into trouble.
