Covid vaccines beginning to become available locally

The newest COVID-19 vaccine is now being made available across the U.S., but it is in limited supply.
Brenden Rivenbark of Three Rivers Health District said the district has not yet received a shipment of the vaccine, but it is available at a handful of pharmacies in the community.
According to a search of the federal vaccine website on Tuesday afternoon, the vaccine is currently available at three pharmacies in Gloucester—the Rite Aids located at 6908 Main Street and 2460 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes, and the Walgreens located at 2418 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the Rite Aid pharmacies had only the Moderna vaccines for ages 12 and older and 18 and older available.
Walgreens had Moderna, Novavax, and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines available for those same age groups and can vaccinate ages five and older. In addition, Walgreens is a Bridge Access Program participant for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Availability can be determined...
