The Gloucester Branch NAACP is hosting a COVID-19/influenza vaccination clinic from 2-5 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 10, at Shepherdsville Baptist Church, 8729 Farys Mill Road, Gloucester.
The Covid clinic will include the newest variant Omicron BA.5 vaccine as well as boosters. It is recommended this vaccination be taken even if you have had previous vaccinations and/or boosters.
“As the weather get colder and people gather for the holidays, this is the perfect time to get vaccinated,” said Gloucester NAACP president Brenda Dixon. “Medical experts predict a very active Covid and flu season,” she said.
