New COVID-19 case rates continued at low levels in the Three Rivers Health District and locally over the past eight days, from Tuesday, April 5 to Wednesday, April 13.
Gloucester recorded 16 new cases of the virus during the period, for a total of 7,315 since the pandemic began, while Mathews had five new cases, for a total of 1,434, and Middlesex had four, for a total of 1,825.
There were four new hospitalizations recorded in Gloucester, for a total of 104, and one new hospitalization in Middlesex, for a total of 44. There were none recorded in Mathews during the week, leaving the total at 32.
No deaths from Covid were recorded in the three counties during the week, leaving the totals at 102 for Gloucester, 28 for Mathews, and 46 for Middlesex.
