All courts, county offices, and post offices in Gloucester and Mathews will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.

School board offices in both counties will be closed also, as will the E-Z Pass office.

Libraries in the two counties will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

All Gloucester waste facilities will close at 2 p.m. Monday, while the Mathews transfer station will be open regular hours.

ABC stores will close at 6 p.m.

DMV customer service centers will be closed Monday, but the department encourages the public to conduct transactions online at www.dmvnow.com.
