Courtice Temple Wilkinson Jr., 85, of Hudgins, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church. He was a life member of the American Legion, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended the University of Richmond and received an architectural certificate from VCU. He was a member of AIA and worked for Gordon Galusia Architecture, Carl Morris and Virginia Power; afterwards, he went into business for himself. He loved to golf, fish, bowl and square dance.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Wilkinson; two daughters, Sheri Wolfe and Donna Davidson; a son, Courtice Temple Wilkinson III; grandchildren, Tyler Wolfe, Zachary Wolfe, Joshua Wolfe, Austin Leighton and Garrett Leighton, and a great-grandchild, Ella Wolfe.
A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at H. C. Smither Memorial Cemetery, Hudgins, Virginia.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia, assisted the family.
