Linda and David Grow will share their aerial photos of the Mathews County area, along with vintage photos of the same scenes, at the next meeting of the Northern Neck-Middle Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Aeronautical Historical Society.
The meeting will be held at the group’s monthly buffet lunch meeting, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Pilot House Restaurant on Route 3, beside Hummel Field in Topping. A meet and greet will begin at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at noon and the program following at 12:30 p.m. Everyone interested in aviation is invited to attend.
The Grows’ photos from their recent project were introduced earlier this summer and have been on display the Mathews Historical Museum on Main Street.
