Arts on Main in Gloucester recently received a $15,000 check from the Cook Foundation of Gloucester, for securing matching contributions from “never-before” friends and donors during the past fiscal year.
Foundation president Adrianne Joseph and board member Mollie Stewart presented the donation to AOM board chair Lynne Manning and chair-elect Hugh Bryan of Arts on Main.
“It is especially gratifying to welcome new friends to Arts on Main, and to know that they have come to value and depend on this growing arts center that serves our community,” said Bryan.
The Cook Foundation has supported Arts on Main through the years by multiple challenge grants, giving $50,000 while the community has matched to the amount of $150,000, Manning said.
