Cook Foundation awards Arts on Main $15,000 grant

The Cook Foundation has awarded a $15,000 grant to Arts on Main, marking the successful completion of the art group’s $30,000 Challenge Grant campaign.
Arts on Main sought to raise matching funds from both new patrons and existing donors in order to continue to offer its popular arts programming to the community.
Now in its seventh year, Arts on Main provides a broad range of fine and performing arts activities to the community. It also partners with the Cook Foundation to help plan and implement the Gloucester Arts Festival and other community arts initiatives.
The group, which is known for its First Friday art exhibitions and performances, also serves the Middle Peninsula with enrichment experiences for both adults and children.
