Conservation Café to be held May 11 at library

Gloucester Library, Main Street Center, will hold a “Conservation Café” event on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m. Explore the evolution of conservation and its impact on Virginia’s historic and contemporary wildlife.
Courtney Lacombe, chief ranger at Machicomoco State Park, will present “A History of Conservation” lecture. There will also be a chance to win a day pass to the park.
Registration opens April 27. For adults 18 and older. Space is limited. Call 804-693-2998 for more information.
