Conquest Comics defines itself as the minor leagues of the comic book industry, where artists can hone their skills and gain experience on whichever career path they choose to pursue.
It was started three years ago by John Millington, partner of Jersey’s Cards and Comics, under the name Crusade Comics. Jersey’s, located at White Marsh, is not only the brick and mortar of Conquest Comics, but also played a major role in Gloucester Comix Con as the event co-sponsor earlier this month.
The thing that sets Conquest apart from other publishers is that whatever an artist creates, it is 100 percent theirs as far as creative rights and intellectual property go. Although it has only existed for three years, Conquest Comics has already started to generate revenue and plans on publishing its four major titles in 2019: Pulse, Whitebird, Captain Allen, and their main title, ZOZ.
Of its three years in existence, this is the first time Conquest Comics has its work displayed in a gallery. ...
