Connect Women’s Ministry to host conference

The Connect Women’s Ministry of Tappahannock will host the “Rise Up Women of God” Women’s Conference on Saturday, March 15, at Essex High School, 833 High School Circle, Tappahannock.
The one-day event invites women from all walks of life for a day of praise, worship, fellowship, and biblical teaching, a release stated.
This conference is a “powerful call for Christian women to step boldly into their God-given roles and purposes,” the release stated.
“Together, we will explore what it means to walk closely with God, especially through life’s challenges, and discover the strength that comes from trusting Him in every step,” the release said.
The conference is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (doors open at 8:15 a.m.). The price is $40 and includes a boxed lunch provided by Excellent EATs of Warsaw. Tickets are available online at www.bealembc.org/womens-conference. The deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 28.
