Kate Voss & the Hot Sauce will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17, in the Harry M. Ward Auditorium at Mathews High School as part of the Concerts by the Bay 2024-2025 season.
Single tickets are $30 at the door; students with ID are admitted free of charge. The production is presented in cooperation with Live On Stage, Inc.
Kate Voss & the Hot Sauce is a multi-genre group that “breathes new life into timeless songs of decades past,” said a press release. It combines smooth vocals with the sounds of a ukelele bass, harmonica, drums, and guitar to cover everything from Blues to Rockabilly to Western Swing.
Voss was named “Vocalist of the Year” in 2017 by Earshot Jazz, while the magazine named her group “Ensemble of the Year” in 2021.
“Kate’s charming stage presence and dynamic voice will charm audiences of all ages as she nails the authenticity of the era in which she sings,” said the release.
