Concerts by the Bay to hold show at MHS Sunday

Award-winning musician Jeff Little will perform at 3 p.m. this Sunday, March 12, in the Mathews High School auditorium.
Hailing from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Little has been critically acclaimed as a musician and an innovator in acoustic music. Although the piano does not normally play a prominent part in Appalachian or Americana music, and is rarely the lead instrument, in Little’s hands, it is a remarkable exception.
Little has performed nationwide at such venues as the Smithsonian Institution, the National Folk Festival, American Piano Masters, and other festivals and performing arts centers. He has been featured on National Public Radio and PBS many times, and has taken his music around the world for the U.S. Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, performing in Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, France and Tanzania.
