Edward Harrow Sr.’s words at last weekend’s celebration of Deltaville Ballpark’s 75th anniversary season summed up the feelings of the more than 1,000 who attended the two-day event.
The longtime Deltaville resident was 14 years old when Deltaville’s ballpark was constructed in 1948. He and other longtime residents, former players, and supporters told many fantastic stories about the ballpark’s origins and life.
