Among the performers at Sunday’s Community Christmas Singalong and Concert at Central United Methodist Church in Mathews were William Earl Sadler, in photo below, performing “Mary Did You Know?” and the Ebenezer Church Choir, consisting of, front row from left, Kim Davis, Lorelei Williams, Karen Thomas, Sherry Jarvis; back row, Marilyn Burrell, Malvina Robinson, and Judy Gaskins, performing several Christmas favorites. The concert is sponsored every year by the Central Village Homemakers, this year celebrating its 50th anniversary, and also includes a cookie and punch social afterwards.
