SCHOOL TOUR: A joint school legislative tour will be conducted from 9-11 this morning, Thursday, Nov. 9, by the Mathews County Board of Supervisors and the Mathews County School Board.
DAFFODIL CLUB: The Gloucester Daffodil Club will have a meeting and annual bulb swap from 4-6 today, Thursday, Nov. 9, at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs on Daffodil Lane in Gloucester.
PLANNERS: The Mathews County Planning Commission will meet at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Nov. 9, in the historic courthouse on Court Street.
WETLANDS: The Gloucester County Wetlands Board will meet at 7 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Nov. 9, in the colonial courthouse. Following the meeting, members of the board will reconvene as the Chesapeake Bay Preservation and Erosion Commission.

MASTER GARDENERS: Gloucester Master Gardeners will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brent and Becky’s, Ware Neck. The topic is “Growing Greens Indoors.” The meeting is open to all interested persons.
