REPUBLICANS: The Gloucester County Republican Committee will meet tonight, Thursday, July 20, at the IDK Raw Bar and Grill, 4329 George Washington Memorial Highway, Hayes. Doors open at 6 o’clock for socializing and dinner. The meeting starts at 7:15.

SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the historic courthouse on Court Street.
QUILTERS: The River Country Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Abingdon Episcopal Church, 4645 George Washington Highway, White Marsh. Brenda Russeau, retired Head of Costumes for Colonial Williamsburg, will give a presentation on quilted clothing from the colonial era.
