SOCIAL SERVICES: The Gloucester Social Services Board will meet at 7:30 this morning, Thursday, Feb. 27, at 6641 Short Lane, Gloucester. The meeting was rescheduled from last Thursday because of the weather.
EDA: The Gloucester County Economic Development Authority will have its quarterly meeting from 8:30 to 11:30 this morning, Thursday, Feb. 27, at Olivia’s in the Village, 6597 Main Street, Gloucester. The meeting was rescheduled from last Wednesday because of the weather.
KING’S DAUGHTERS AND SONS: The Chesapeake Bay Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons will meet at noon today, Thursday, Feb. 27, in the fellowship hall of New Point Friends Church.
SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 3:30 this afternoon, Thursday, Feb. 27, in the historic courthouse on Court Street for budget presentations from county departments. After the presentations, the board will close the meeting and reconvene at 6 p.m. for the regular monthly meeting.
