SUPERVISORS: The Mathews County Board of Supervisors will meet at 6 o’clock tonight, Thursday, Oct. 17, in the historic courthouse on Court Street. Three public hearings are on the agenda.

MEMORIAL DEDICATION: A Memorial Dedication Ceremony to honor the French soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice at the Battle of the Hook in 1781 will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Abingdon Elementary School, 7087 Powhatan Drive, Hayes.
