Come enjoy a stereopticon show Wednesday at Locust Grove Church

There will be a stereopticon show and lecture given by Mr. Jordan at Locust Grove at Soles, August 28.
We are sorry to hear of the serious accident that fell upon A. Stuart Hodges, while out in his launch last week. In trying to fix some part of the engine, his arm became entangled in it breaking both bones and cutting a deep gash below the elbow.
We are glad to report Miss Virginia Soles is much better, after having the malaria fever.

We are sorry to report Mrs. Richard Diggs of Gwynn’s Island, quite ill at this writing.
There is quite a number of visitors and boarders on here at present.
Rosa Lee, the little daughter of Mr. Samuel Brownley, fell from a tree last week and was badly hurt.
There was no preaching on the Island Sunday morning as the pastor, Rev. L.H. Suddith, was holding a revival at Spring Hill Church, Cobbs Creek.
