The Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal had 55 entries in this year’s Easter coloring contest. Gazette-Journal judges Ana Ferreira and Melany Slaughter had a tough time selecting this year’s winners. In the end, the following winners were chosen: in the 4-5 age category (top from left), Carter Sterne (first place), Lucy Verner (second place) and Orchid Buchanon (third place); in the 6-8 age group (bottom from left), winners were Jackson Hay (first place), Zoey Satterlee (second place) and Jack Ramsey (third place). Winners receive $25, $15 and $10 for first, second and third places, respectively.
