The Bay School Community Arts Center will hold an opening reception for its new show, Collaborative Creations, from 5-7 p.m. Friday in the Art Speaks Gallery, 287 Main Street, Mathews. Each entry in the show is a collaborative effort by two or more friends, peers, or family members. Artwork includes fiber, sculpture, hanging art, pottery and decorative pieces. Finger foods and drinks will be served, and artists will be on hand to greet visitors. The show will run through June 24. Shown here is “Justin’s Dream” by Karen and Mike Pittman.
