Clyde A. Carlton, age 75, died Dec. 16, 2011 in a Fredericksburg, Va., hospital. He was a resident of the Golden Living Facility.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth H. Carlton, and father, Millard C. Carlton Sr. He is survived by his brother, Millard C. Carlton Jr., and a niece, Amy C. Lenderman of Gloucester, Va.

He was cremated and will be interred in Sunny Slope Cemetery West Point beside his mother.
