All courts and county offices in Gloucester and Mathews will close at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27, and remain closed through Friday, Nov. 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Schools in both counties will be closed all day Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
DMV customer service centers will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the holiday, while all post offices, waste facilities, and ABC stores will be closed Thursday only.
Gloucester libraries will close at noon on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday, while Mathews Memorial Library will close at noon on Wednesday and remain closed throughout the weekend, opening for regular hours on Monday, Dec. 1.
