When two Category 4 hurricanes hit Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador in November 2020, people poured across the border into Mexico and headed towards the United States as torrential rains and landslides caused them to lose their homes, livelihoods and access to clean water. The presenter will discuss these affected individuals and how the U.S. might aid them and be affected by the migration. Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs.
