The fall installation of Clean Gloucester Day will be held by Gloucester Clean Community from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 12, throughout the county.
Volunteers are encouraged to sign up online through the Clean Community website. Groups can select a spot to clean up or one can be assigned. Public spaces such as schools and parks are encouraged clean-up areas for younger volunteers like scout troops and school groups. Anyone under 18 must have adult supervision.
There will be a dumpster set up next to Gloucester County Public Library, Main Street Center, where participants can drop off materials they collect. The five convenience centers in the county can also be utilized.
Supplies like grabbers, bags and vests will be available for pick up at the Stewart Building, Main Street, the day of Clean Gloucester Day. Pickup is available the week before with online registration.
