Clayton Freeman Gause, 87, of Gloucester, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.

He was a born in South Carolina, and was the son of the late Ivey and Maude Soles Gause. He was retired from Tenneco Inc. in the shipyard as a fitter.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Gause; his daughters, Angela Gause, Pamela Gause, and Donna McMahon; a brother, Edwin Gause, and his grandchildren, Jessica McMahon, Gabriella Andersen, and Alexander Andersen.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
