Claudie Julius Branch Jr., 81, of Gloucester, went to meet his Maker Jan. 28, 2012 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital.
Claudewas a super salesman all of his life, and was the previous owner of Southern Mobile Homes in Newport News. He had been the manager at AA Mobile Market in Gloucester for the past nine years.
Claude tried to retire three times and just had to go back to work; he said "working keeps the mind young." Claude was known for his sharp wit, and always doing things his way. "To those who loved him, he was always there." He may not have been always right but he was never wrong. He was a memorable man with his own way of doing things.
He loved Gospel music and eating a good coconut pie with ice cream. Claude said that he had lived his "Three Score and Ten" and was on borrowed time. He was thankful for each and every day God gave him as his license plate states "Will C Ya’" and we will see him again.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Branch Sr. and Helen Morris Branch.
