Beaverlett: Mrs. Fannye G. Diggs entertained a number of friends on Wednesday evening.
Mesdames Vernon Diggs, Olive Hudgins, Miss Fannye Diggs and Messrs. Vandy Diggs, Charlie Hudgins and U.G. Dillehay motored to Newport News, Norfolk and Portsmouth last week and visited Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Mercer.
The pupils and patrons of Beaverlett School are preparing for a bazaar to be held at the school house in the near future.
