Claire S. Stillman, 96, of Mathews, peacefully departed to eternal rest with the Lord on May 24, 2020.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1923 to the late Stafford and Zell Stokes in Tampa, Florida.

Claire is survived by her sons, Walter Stillman (Susan), Warren Stillman (Trish) and Kenny Martinez (Joyce); 12 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren, and 11 great- great-grandchildren.

Claire unconditionally loved her family, friends and hometown community. Her presence, cooking and community involvement will be missed, but she leaves a legacy of love, wisdom and kindness.

There will be a quiet gathering of immediate family at a future date.
