Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are presenting a series of civic-related events and programs this month through the Fourth of July. The museums join in a national Civic Season initiative to present programs to engage younger generations in the role of American democracy.

Thursday, June 20: A Conversation between Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Rollison, 6:30-8 p.m., American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.
Bill Barker, enactor of Thomas Jefferson, and James Cameron, a historian who has brought Black entrepreneur John Rollison back to life, dive into their 18th-century personas to discuss citizenship in the new nation. Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Executive Director Christy Coleman will moderate the discussion between. Advance online registration is required to attend the free evening presentation.
