Church recipes for Thanksgiving

COCONUT PIE 

If you like coconut, you will love this pie!

1 c. sugar

1 c. coconut

2 eggs

1 c. milk

3 Tbs. melted butter

1 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and then add sugar and melted butter. Add coconut and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 375°F. until golden brown.

DUMP CAKE

1 box white, yellow or chocolate cake mix

1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained

1 can apple, blueberry or cherry pie filling

1 stick butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter and pour into 13"x9" pan. Pour in pineapple, then pie filling. Mix cake mix according to directions. Pour over top and bake until center is done. I baked mine about 38-40 minutes.

FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE

2 c. self-rising flour, sifted twice

1¼ c. sugar

2 tsp. soda

 

Mix above with:

2 eggs (slightly beaten)

1 can fruit cocktail (15 oz.), do not drain
