Christmas parade grand marshals share a heart of service for community

This year’s grand marshals for the Gloucester Christmas and Holiday Parade share a heart of service for their community.
Lisa and Jim Munson of Gloucester, have spent years behind the scenes, helping their community in the ways that God calls them to.
For more than 10 years, the Munsons have served free coffee and doughnuts to the staff, volunteers and vendors of the Gloucester Daffodil Festival. The couple is at the Court Circle at 4 o’clock in the morning, preparing coffee and setting out the 25 dozen doughnuts donated by Walmart. The couple is there until 5 o’clock that night serving, witnessing and praying with anyone who comes along.
Once, a vendor who is there year after year told the Munsons that they changed his life because of their dedication to serving, praying and sharing Jesus with people every year at the festival. The man told the couple that he had recommitted his life to serving the Lord after witnessing what they do.
