Gloucester Point Baptist Church will hold its Christmas Eve Worship service on Tuesday, Dec. 24, beginning at 5 p.m. This is a community service and all are invited (7741 Terrapin Cove Road, Gloucester Point). Three live scenes will be unveiled throughout the worship service as Christmas hymns are sung and scripture read. The live scenes include the Annunciation to Shepherds; Simeon in the Temple with Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus; and the Three Wisemen, Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus. In a previous year’s service, Seth Gandee (in back, at left) portrays Joseph, Keith Belvin (leaning forward), Gary Mangrum and Chris Gibbons, from left, portray the Wisemen and Paige Bond is Mary, holding baby Jesus.
