Christmas Blessing Fund passes halfway mark

After two weeks, the 2022 Mathews Ruritan Club Christmas Blessing Fund is well on the way toward its goal of $20,000, Honorary Chairperson Raymond Willis Sr. announced. Donations of $10,080 have been received thus far.
There is still plenty of time to make your generous and much needed donation, a release stated. Tax-deductible contributions to assist needy families in Mathews with home heating costs may be sent to: Christmas Blessing Fund, P.O. Box 74, Mathews, Va. 23109.
