Mrs. Christina Ane Layman Howell, 27, of Hayes, Va., entered into rest Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.

 

Mrs. Howell was a native of Newport News but spent most of her life in Hayes. She was a loving mother and daughter and was a Falcons fan. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse.

 

Family members include her mother, Melinda Allmon and husband Mike; father, Michael Layman and wife Teresa; children, Maddox and Ava Howell; brother, Mike Layman; step-sister, Trisha Williams; maternal grandparents, Mary Evelyn Baxter and the late Robert Baxter; paternal grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Layman Jr.; aunts, Carole Curtis and husband Todd,  Anita and the late Andrew Layman; and uncles, Bobby Baxter and wife Lisa, Billy Baxter and wife Suzanne, William Layman and wife Sharron, and Keith Layman and wife Anna.

 

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
