Chocolate, sweet, beautiful

It’s time to fill your Easter basket with homemade chocolate Easter eggs. The ladies and the minister at Singleton United Methodist Church in Ware Neck are making it possible. Get your order in before Sunday, selecting from the five flavors available: peanut butter, orange, coconut, butter cream and butter pecan. The eggs are beautifully decorated and, with personal names if requested, in 6 oz. size at $5 or 3-oz. egg for $3.
This group is dedicated to both church and community, and their egg-making is a labor of love project. No task is a job, everything is done with pleasure and much laughter.
 On egg-making days they meet in the church’s kitchen. For the first day, after morning greetings and once all supplies are on the table, work immediately begins with mixing the contents of whatever the flavors of the eggs of the day are. “Each batch is taste tested for perfection,” said the Rev.
