Chop up 3 average onions
Chop up 3 average green peppers
Chop up 15 Roma tomatoes
Chop up 6 jalapeno peppers
Chop up 1 jar of Mt. Olive Hot Banana Pepper Rings
Brown 3 lbs. ground beef. Add onions, peppers, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and banana peppers to ground beef and cook for about 10 minutes. Make sure to use all the juice from the banana peppers. Add 3 packs of McCormick seasoning: Hot chili (1 packet for every pound of ground beef). You can get mild McCormick seasonings. Mix seasoning into ground beef and cook for about 5 minutes. Add 2 cans of Hanover or Bush’s navy beans. Add 1 can Bush’s great northern beans. Add 3 cans Contadina (15 oz.) tomato sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add ¼ c. sugar to taste. Cook for 3½ hours at very low heat, stirring often to prevent the bottom from burning.
