Children, adults invited to make daffodil arrangements

The Garden Club of Gloucester plans two chances to arrange Gloucester’s famous daffodils during the Daffodil Festival to be held on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.
The first event will be a free flower-arranging event for children ages 6-13 to be held at Arts on Main from noon to 1:30 p.m. This year’s theme is “Buckets of Fun” and each child will choose a colorful bucket to use as the container for their arrangement. They will select their flowers picked from the garden club members’ gardens.
The children will be given free expression of their artistry; therefore, they will not be judged. Upon completion, participants may take their creations home.
All supplies, flowers, and decorative items needed for these arrangements will be provided by the garden club at no charge to the participants.
