Chicken pox and pneumonia reported at Glass

In the news from Glass, all the children of the neighborhood are having the chicken-pox.
Mrs. Lamberth West’s little infant has pneumonia.
There will be Christmas exercises and Christmas tree at Groves Memorial Church on Christmas night. Everybody is cordially invited.

Dr. and Mrs. A.M. Marchant recently moved to Gloucester Court House to take up their residence. Dr. Marchant, however, will be at Mathews Court House on Friday and Saturday of each week and all the week of Court Week to take care of his patients in Mathews. “The Old Fashioned Mother,” a drama, will be given at Cobbs Creek on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 28, and repeated at the Gwynns Island School on the evening of Monday, Jan.1, by a “Hallieford Troupe.” Admission 15 cents and 25 cents.
