‘Cherish the Ladies’ to perform at WPHS

“Cherish the Ladies—Celebrating 30 Years” will be performed at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, in the civic auditorium at West Point High School.
An Irish-American group, Cherish the Ladies has toured the world, played the White House and the Olympics, and recorded 15 albums since it formed in 1985 in New York City, said a press release. The group’s latest album, “An Irish Homecoming,” was videotaped for a PBS special that won an Emmy. The performance showcases the ladies’ instrumental talents, vocals, and step dancing, the release said.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 and older, and $10 for students. Groups of 10 are $15 per ticket.
To purchase tickets, visit www.artsaliveinc.org or call 804-843-3475. They will also be available at the door.
An “All Media Community Art Exhibit” is on display through March 14 and can be viewed prior to the performance.
