Charles Rudolph Seidl Sr., age 60, of Hayes, died Jan. 4, 2012.

He was born in New York, and served in the U.S. Navy. He had been associated with Bill Fary Ford in Gloucester as a mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Seidl; children, Jennifer Rudolf, Melissa O’Neill, Charles R. Seidl Jr., and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services were private.
