Charles Everette Brown Jr., 66, of Norfolk, Va. passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at the Williamsburg Hospice House.

He was born in Norfolk, Va., and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard where he was an electrician. He was a member of Norview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tona Brown, and his mother, Ruth Phifer Brown.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Hansen and her husband Leroy; his father, Charles E. Brown Sr. of Florida; sister, Ruth Locklear of Florida, and his grandchildren, Cody Chasm and Gabriella Hansen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
